Childhood :
Born on 5 November 1988 (Delhi) (age 35 years old) Virat Kohli was born in Delhi into a Punjabi Hindu Family. His father name is Prem Nath Kohli, worked as a criminal lawyer, and his mother name is Saroj Kohli, served as a housewife. He has an older brother, Vikas Kohli and an older sister Bhawana Kohli.
Personal Life :
Kohli’s romantic association with bollywood actress Anushka Sharma which commenced in 2013, During an interview with Graham Bensinger, Kohli divulged that he had encountered Sharma for the first time when they were both were engaged in a promotional shoot for clear shampoo. Then 11 December 2017 Virat gets married with Anushka Sharma. On 11 January 2021, the couple had their first child, a daughter, who was name Vamika. Then on 15 February 2024, the couple welcomed their second child, a boy named Akaay.
Education :
Virat Kohli’s formative years were spent in Uttam Nagar. He commenced his early education at Vishal Bharati Public School. According to his family, Kohli exhibited an early affinity for cricket as a three-year old. He would pick up a cricket bat and request his father to bowl him.

- Kohli received the Arjun Award from president Pranab Mukherjee in August 2013.
- Kohli received Padma Shri Award from president Pranab Mukherjee in March 2017.

International Debut :
Kohli’s international debut came in an ODI against Sri Lanka on 18 August 2008 in Dambulla. He then made his T20I debut on 12 June 2010 against Zimbabwe in Harare. And then his first test match was against the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica in 20 June 2011.
